the family visit and new serging droid

Every other year or so, my sister J makes the trek out to lovely Washington State to see the fam-damily. She has 2 little boys, Little Dude and Littler Dude (formerly Baby Dude), and her husband, JJ-pooh. Since the little dudes are growing so bloody fast, I gotta document them. That and I like to share my photos...

Me and my younger brother, The Most Hated Man on the Internet (his words, not mine). What's funny is that he used to run around and do this very thing when he was a little dude, and, like I did with this picture, forget to take the camera off zoom before snapping a closeup.

Uncle Daniel and the Dudes. Little Dude is 5, and in the blue shirt. Littler Dude is 3 and in the green shirt. They were having a GREAT time getting Aunt Helen in the bum with their little nerf darts. Uncle Daniel is a big goober for teaching them how to aim for that sort of thing. ;)

Now it's my turn to pose with the Dudes. Pretty doggone cute if you ask me, but I might be somewhat biased. :)

My sister J, her husband JJ-pooh, and the Dudes. They're a good looking fam-damily. :)

And now, for something completely different....

The new serging droid!!!!!

As evidenced by previous posts, I have a thing for droids. This is the newest one to join the Tiki Hut Sewing Studio, the new serging droid!

What is a serging droid, you ask? It's a serger with an on-board computer chip that stores a mess of different stitch settings. My sewing machine, also known as the sewing droid, also has a computer chip for the same purpose. The best part about my new serging droid is that it's easy to use, gives me no attitude, and is VERY sexay. That and it came with a pretty thorough video tape of what it's capable of. :)

All in all, it's been a fun weekend.
