The husband and his new truck

Well, we knew that this day was coming--Daniel was going to need his own vehicle for his job. So off to Toyota of Kirkland we went. We drove home with a lease deal on a Toyota Tundra, in a lovely shade of dark grey. This is his first new car. :) He's been out of town for training, and I've driven it maybe 4 times in the three weeks he's been gone. It's fun to drive, and interesting to park.

I'm inked!

Something I've been contemplating for a while, and I've wanted Haida artwork as a tattoo. According to Pacific Northwest Native folklore, the hummingbird is seen as a harbinger of good luck. So I went and got this done on March 8th. Did it hurt? Oh yea, totally. Will I do this again? Jury's still out on that one. But I love it. Now that it's healed, it looks really cool.
